I was born in Des Moines, Iowa, to Keith and Diana Winkel (God rest her soul). We lived in Omaha, Nebraska, for a while and moved here when I was but a wee lad of six.
At last check, I am 1/4 Dutch (from my paternal grandfather, Dick Winkel, God rest his soul too), 1/4 British (from my paternal grandmother, Mary (Cropley) Winkel, God rest HER soul), 1/4 German (from my maternal grandfather, Dale Xxxxxxx, God keep resting), and 1/4 Swedish (from my maternal grandmother, Ruth (Carlson) Xxxxxxx, God finish resting souls for now).
I have lots of friends on Facebook, and in real life I have a LOAD of friends at St. Andrew United Methodist Church!
